Convenient location. Nice view at breakfast
Room was a bit tired. We had a superior balcony room and it was disappointing for a superior room and the balcony was very disappointing. Barely room to sit, didn’t look like the photos advertising the room

Liked our stay in Coimbra.
The reception welcome was excellent. Lots of information provided. Comfortable room, a little small. We're offered an upgrade for 30 euros per night. Breakfast room was nice, choices a bit limited, Roof top terrace a bonus in the city.
Just a little issue with a picture falling off the wall above the bed in the night, due to a brocken clip.

Excellent stay near the old town. Staff extremely helpful, Free parking.
The location is really excellent - at the foot of the hill on the edge of the old town, it's only about 4 minutes walk to the main street with all the restaurants, and the start of the stairs going up to the university. It's a new-ish hotel, fully modernized. We booked a standard room and it was really small with 2 single beds, but when the staff checked there was a somewhat larger room that they moved us to. Not a large room, but OK. Bathroom was a bit small, but had all the modern amenities. It's on a main street, so bring earplugs for the morning truck traffic below. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, and spoke excellent english. They have a free-parking arrangement (in/out privileges) at a garage just across the road. That's excellent, but it is a very challenging ramp system between the floors: up and down traffic use the same ramp (which is extrememly tight, and has several very awkwardly-placed columns)) so there can be some difficult backing-up...one day, we encountered 3 cars coming up as we were trying to go down. Bonus: the rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to wind down the day with a glass of wine, with a full-on view of the old town and the university, Breakfast was standard offerings, but freshly prepared and tasty.
The wifi/internet was very poor - weak, and dropping often
